Welcome to subsonly. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and subsonly (“subsonly,” “we,” “us”) that governs your use of the subsonly website, apps, and services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We’ve written these in plain language wherever we can. They’re meant to be read.
1.What subsonly is
subsonly is a home for creators: a single, beautiful page for your content, plus a smart inbox for messages from fans and inbound requests from brands, with optional scheduling, AI-assisted reply drafting, and private media tools. Followers can browse public creator pages, follow creators, and send them messages.
The Service is offered as-is and evolves over time. We may add, change, or remove features. We’ll try to give notice of material changes, but we’re not obligated to keep any particular feature.
2.Eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or older where your local law requires it, for example 16 in parts of the EU). When you create an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. Browsing public creator pages doesn’t require an account.
If we learn that someone under the minimum age has created an account, we’ll remove it. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@subsonly.me.
3.Your account
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Keep your details accurate, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account, and you may not impersonate anyone or claim a handle you have no right to use.
Handles are assigned on a first-come basis and remain ours to administer. We may reclaim handles that are inactive, infringing, misleading, or reserved.
4.Your content and ownership
You own what you create. The content you add to subsonly — your profile, links, media, posts, and messages — stays yours. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and improve the Service (for example, showing your public page to visitors or delivering your message to its recipient). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained as described in our Privacy Policy or required by law.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to share it. Don’t post anything you don’t have permission to use.
5.Acceptable use
subsonly is a mainstream, safe-for-work platform. To keep it that way, you agree not to use the Service to create, post, send, or link to:
- Sexual or explicit content, or content that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance).
- Harassment, threats, hate, or incitement of violence.
- Illegal goods or services, fraud, scams, or deceptive schemes.
- Spam, mass unsolicited messaging, or manipulation of the Service.
- Impersonation, or infringement of others’ intellectual property or privacy.
- Malware, phishing, or attempts to breach security or scrape the Service.
We check outbound links against known-malicious lists and may block or warn on flagged links. Automated heuristics may flag likely abuse for human review.
6.Messages and contacts
The inbox is for genuine communication between creators and the people reaching out to them. Don’t use it to spam, harvest contact details, or send bulk or automated messages. Creators may close conversations, block contacts, and report abuse. People who message a creator can ask us to remove their messages and personal information, and we honor verified requests.
7.Brand deals and scheduling
subsonly facilitates communication and scheduling between creators and brands. We are not a party to any deal, contract, or payment between them. We do not guarantee, broker, or enforce deals, and we are not responsible for the conduct of brands or the outcome of any negotiation.
Any agreement you reach is strictly between you and the other party. Do your own due diligence before committing to anything.
8.AI features
Some features use AI to help creators, such as triaging messages and drafting replies. AI-assisted replies are always labeled as AI-generated, both in the data and visibly in the interface.
The AI assists; it does not act on your behalf on high-stakes matters. It never sends a business or deal reply unsupervised, never accepts a deal, and never negotiates or quotes prices for you. A creator reviews and approves those replies before anything is sent. We do not use private message content to train third-party models.
9.Plans and payments
subsonly is currently free to use, within reasonable usage limits (for example, caps on AI usage). We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we’ll show the price and terms clearly before you pay, and we do not charge you today without your explicit consent.
10.Moderation and enforcement
Anyone can report a profile, message, or link. We combine reports with automated signals and human review. When something violates these Terms, our response is proportional: generally a warning, then content removal, then temporary suspension, then a permanent ban.
Severe violations — such as content sexualizing minors or credible threats — skip straight to removal, a ban, and, where required, preservation of evidence and reporting to the appropriate authority (for example, NCMEC in the US). If your account is actioned, we’ll cite the rule involved, and you may appeal for human review.
11.Termination and account deletion
You can stop using subsonly at any time. When you delete your account, your public page goes offline immediately and your account is scheduled for permanent deletion. We keep your data for 45 days in case you change your mind — simply sign back in during that window to cancel — after which it is permanently erased. Need it removed sooner? Email support@subsonly.me.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses you granted to others, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
12.Third-party links and services
Creator pages link out to third-party sites and platforms, and the Service runs on third-party infrastructure. We don’t control third-party content or services and aren’t responsible for them. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s own terms.
13.Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We aim for high availability on managed infrastructure but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
14.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, subsonly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold subsonly harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
16.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, give additional notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
17.Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these Terms? Reach us at support@subsonly.me.
